  • The ol' alternate universe episode, where the good guys are evil and vice versa, and it is awesome.

I love these type of episodes, the alternate universe ones where the good guys are evil and vice versa. The opening is brilliantly done, showing the Injustice Syndicate in silouette, confusing the viewer into thinking it's the good guys. But they act far too violent, Green Arrow shooting regular arrows at a person? Blue Beetle shooting at the poor guy and calling him a loser? We then see that they are evil versions of Batman, Green Arrow, Blue Beetle and Red Tornado. Red Hood is introduced in the opening as well.

When Batman goes undercover after a very cool battle with Owlman, we see more evil counterparts, and the climactic final battle with the evil good guys and the good bad guys is fantastic, I only wish it would've lasted a little longer. But this is a great scene, taking another twist when Silver Cyclone betrays his team. Red Hood is very awesome, and I was suprised to see that he was actually a good Joker in the alternate universe.

The episode is a lot of fun, and it ends on a cliffhanger, becoming the first two-parter in the series.moreless
  • Batman goes to another dimension where all heroes are now villian and the villians are heros, there he meets up with the mysterious Red Hood.

I liked this episode because of the storyline, I never thought that the Joker could have a good counterpart. And my mouth literilly dropped open when I heard his voice. At first I wouldn't accept Jeff Bennet as the voice of the Joker, since to me Mark Hamill will and forever be the Joker to me, but after listening to Mr. Bennet play our favorite pyschotic clown for a couple of scenes, he began to grow on me. And it was fun watching Batman act like a bad guy, it made him more....human for me. I hope the Red Hood makes more apperances.moreless

  • QUOTES (7)

    • Owlman: So Red Hood was going to a Batman for help?
Batman: Red Hood? Doesn't ring a bell. But maybe this will ring yours. (throws batarang)

    • Red Hood: The dimensional wave is holding steady. Huh? Which is more then I can say for my nerves.
Owlman: You'd have to be crazy not to be nervous.

    • Scarlet Scarab: Plan "B"? But guys, you can't be serious about using Cyclone's bomb to wipe out their entire planet.
      Blue Bowman: And why not?
Scarlet Scarab: Because after that, what other crime could possibly taste as sweet?

    • Batman: A world without heroes. My worst nightmare.

    • Scarlet Scarab: Totally. The others don't know what I'm capable of. One day I'll show them. I've got the true heart of a hero.
Batman: (thinking) Hero? A possible ally?
Scarlet Scarab: I keep it in a big jar at the back of my closet.

    • Blue Bowman: Who is this guy?!?
      Batman: I'm Batman.

    • Red Hood: Whoever he is, I hope my counterpart on your world will have a chance to repay you.
      Batman: Somehow, that seems unlikely.

  • NOTES (3)

    • Dyna-Mite: I know Owlman. Owlman is a friend of mine. You're no Owlman.
This is a play on a speech made by Lloyd Bentson during the 1988 Vice Presidential election. When his rival Dan Quayle mentioned that he had as much political experience as John F. Kennedy when Kennedy ran for office, Bentsen replied: "Senator, I served with Jack Kennedy. I knew Jack Kennedy. Jack Kennedy was a friend of mine. Senator, you're no Jack Kennedy."
