You like Blue Beetle? Which one? Oh, wait, it doesn't matter as both Ted Kord and Jamie Reyes appear in the episode. Sounds good? It is. The story focuses mostly on Reyes as he wants to fins out more about his superhero origin. Ted Kord appears only in flashback sequences, revealing details that tie in to the main plot. It was a bit slow in places, but the one main problem i had with the episode, was the villain. He's...boring. Dr. Polaris on the other hand, he was awesome, with a cool design and voiced by Lex Lang. Why wasn'the in it more? But still, the fight between Batman and him was the best part of the episode.

This is a very minor detail, but I think it deserves to be mentioned. There's guns in this episode, machineguns, I think, I can't fully remember. But they looked realistic and they sounded realistic. It was phenomenal to finally see realistic looking and sounding firearms in a cartoon again. I know, so what, right? Well, remember the guns in The Batman, yeah, they looked ridicilous. A minor detail, as I mentioned, but still...great.

Again, we get death in this series. Ted Kord dies, as expected. But I think it was handled very well. This time, the episode had some funny jokes, unlike last week's "Dawn of the Deadman". "No missiles in the lab, please" and "You might try a new deoderant". Good stuff, and it is a very good episode. Next week, The Atom, Aquaman, the Brain and...wait for it...Chemo. Yes, Chemo, and he looks awesome.
