The teaser introduces The Question and Equinox, who would go on to be a prominent villain this second half of the first season. The opening really is a teaser, and raises a few questions about his persona and motives. The rest of the episode is a good one, Aquaman returns, but he is not as entertaining as he has been in his previous appearances, why? He's depressed, yeah, a depressed Aquaman. Not exactly an emotion I was the character to have. It's not funny, and he is probably the funniest character on the show. Who thought this was a good idea? Anyway, the reason for his behaviour is explained, and we get an understandig of why he's so sad, then near the end, thankfully, it's back to the old Aquaman we know and love from this show.
Adam Strange is great, I love how this show introduces the lesser known heroes of DC to a new generation. The villains are pretty lame though, but the action is on a big scale and it's pretty awesome. Removing the moon, or teleporting it, was a bit...too much, wait "too much"? In this show? No, I guess it wasn't but still it's a bit dumb. Anyway, the rock music in the episode was cool as well. Overall, it's a good episode.
