The Green Lantern Corps must battle an alien invasion that involves Blue Beetle.

Blue Beetle is one of the most popular characters on the show, and this episode explores the origins of his suit further and what it's real purpose is, which is to take complete control over the person inside and turning him into a war machine for The Reach a evil alien race or something. The Green Lantern Corps. appear as well, and we get some fantastic action in the end, between the Lanterns and The Reach. This is the standout moment of the episode.

There is some tension in the episode. I thought we would see Beetle sacrifice himself to save the others, just like his predecessor in "Fall of the Blue Beetle", but of course that didn't happen. But that's just fine. I rather like the Reyes Blue Beetle. Guy Gardner proves himself again as a good fighter, and is not just an incompetent jerk. The design on the various Beetle suits were awesome.

This is another great episode from this show, it has some spectacular action, mainly the battle between the Lanterns and The Reach.moreless
