Martian Manhunter: And what's bothering you, Booster?
Booster Gold: For your information, I had to send Skeets to cancel my much-anticipated appearance on The Jack Ryder Show tonight. Who's gonna push my brand-new line of Booster Gold menswear. Now you could definitely use a hipper look. Here's a coupon for 15% off at all participating stores.
Martian Manhunter: Thank you, but I'll pass.
Aquaman: Fifteen percent off, you say? By Poseidon, those savings are outrageous!
Blue Beetle: I never knew Bats was into fine dining. Is it me, or he is acting kind of strange?
Booster Gold: After seein' how he dresses his dog, nothing phases me about this guy.
Batman: Cosmetics? For one as naturally beautiful as you?
Ice: I bet you say that to all the Nordic ice goddesses.
Booster Gold: Look, I'm sure there's a good reason for this, not that I wanna take the time to figure it out. But I got places to go, underwear to sell.
Fire: You have got a crush on who?
Ice: Aquaman. That hunk is global warming to my heart's polar ice caps.
Fire: First of all, Tora, he smells like the Fulton Fish Market.
Ice: I love that smell, too.

Episode author J.M. DeMatteis created I... Vampire (1981-1983), the first DC comic to feature a vampire, Andrew Bennett, as the main character.
Batman: Catwoman's still playing the most dangerous game.
Referencing the 1924 short story The Most Dangerous Game (aka The Hounds of Zaroff), by Richard Connell. In it, a big-game hunter is stranded on an island belonging to Russian aristocrat General Zaroff. Zaroff hunts human sports, having grown born with killing animals, and gives the hunter three days to avoid him and his dogs.
Booster Gold: Booster Gold, Vampire Slayer!
Referencing the movie and subsequent TV series Buffy the Vampire Slayer, which features the adventures of a teenage girl, Buffy Summers, the "Chosen One," who is gifted with special abilities that allow her to fight vampires, demons, and other monsters. A female vampire on that show was named Darla, making the female vampire in this episode named Dala a possible in-joke.
