  • I love Batman and all his various cartoon incarnations and my absolutely favaourite Batman villian is the Gentleman Ghost. Unfortunately this episode is actually about Gorila Grodd.

I love Batman and all his various cartoon incarnations and my absolutely favaourite Batman villian is the Gentleman Ghost. Unfortunately this episode is actually about Gorila Grodd who is a good example for a Flash villain, but let's talk about the beginning of this episode - I LOVED IT!! Why? Easy ... because I had a chance to see - even if only for a couple of minutes - my favourite Gentleman Ghost. The chase, the fight, the showdown ... perfect. Batman on the verge of being killed ... wonderful and then? Fire to the rescue, not really what I had hoped for but well, you cannot win them all. The rest of the episode wasn't too bad - Plastic Man was in character and you could easily imagine him sprung from the comics and Batman did his usual. Overall I really enjoyed the whole episode. Thank you!
  • I've never liked Plastic Man much, but he made me laugh out loud here. Can't wait to see more of him in this series.

This episode is a great example of the potential that this series has. Batman teams up with Plastic Man, a shape-changing goofball who's the perfect balance to the Dark Knight's grimness. Animation is the ultimate way to see Plastic Man's abilities, and it works well here. We also get to see more of the DC Comics roster in this one episode than we usually do in Batman cartoons--along with Plastic Man, we get a few minutes of Fire, a South American female heroine; Gentleman Ghost, an old school villain; Kite-Man, a 50's era completely ridiculous baddie; and Gorilla Grodd, who is the big bad for this particular episode. I enjoyed seeing Plastic Man's origin as a bad guy that Batman helps reform, and the bond between the two heroes is different than what we see in other team-ups. I can't wait to see Plastic Man return to this series.

This show is really just excellent. It's fun, fast and with good action in it. This one starts out with Batman and Plastic Man chasing after Gentleman Ghost. Who is awesome by the way. Come on, he has guns that fire bullets with skulls on them and a skeleton horse. How cool is that? I love his english accent as well. After a while, Fire shows up. Looking hot as usual(it's not a pun or anything, I'm not THAT lame...). Hopefully she'll return in another episode. Anyway, my point is. The opening is spectacular, and easily my favorite part of the episode. Then comes the intro, and I got to say, it's starting to grow on me, especially the theme music.

The rest of the episode has Batman teaming up with Plastic Man in order to take down Gorlla Grodd and his army of gorillas and dinosaurs. I never really liked Grodd, but he was pretty cool in this episode. Hopefully he'll return to his normal gorilla form later on. Plastic Man was awesome, I love his movements, all thanks to the great animation. And Tom Kenny did a good job voicing him. The origin stuff was interesting, as I'm in no way an expert on Plastic Man. One thing I feared before the show started was Kite-Man, and the episode that would have him as the villain. Luckily, he's in this episode for just a little while, and hopefully that's the last we'll see of him.

The action scenes were great, especially those with Plastic Man, he also got the funniest moments. In conclusion, this is another great episode from an awesome show.
