  • Fantastic teaser opening, the rest of the episode is not THAT good, the season finale brings back Equinox and his origins are explained.

Opening with Two-Face, excellent, great voice by James Remar, I'm not 100% on the design and the disfigured side of his face, but the opening is very enjoyable. Then we get the rest of the episode with Equinox, a good villain but the episode, from when Equinox falls into his machine, becomes a bit of a mess, and the final battle between Batman and Equinox is more silly than entertaining, a huge robot Batman vs. a huge Equinox? Okay, should be good, but the fight changes setting from the city to space, I didn't like that. The very final moment before and including the death of Equinox was great though.

Dr. Fate is here as the guest hero, along with several others, but it's not terribly special. I don't know what to say, I don't hate the episode, it has it's moments of greatness, including a brilliant opening, but as a season finale it's nothing special really. A bit disappointing when compared to the mid-season finale with Owlman and Joker, but Equinox's demise was well done and gave the episode one truly outstanding moment, besides the Two-Face opening.
