Question: Who helped modify Wen and Li's B-Daman?
Answer: Bull.
Yamato: (After we see him and the others changed in different costumes) Well, I'll be a monkey's uncle. You can make a lot of B-DaBucks in costume parties!
Yamato: There's this entity that leads the New-Shadow Alliance, and he's using Marda B.'s name. Why?
Pandoro: It says here...
Yamato: Yes. What?
Pandoro: Well, he, uh... the scroll is ripped and the rest is missing.
(All fall in disappointment)
Pandoro: To discover the true answer, you will have to venture forth and yourself the owner of the next scroll.
Yamato: Dude, we have ventured fourth and fifth!
Yamato: (About the B-DaSage) Is it just me, or are all B-DaMasters chockfull of food and riddles?
Yamato: (As a B-DaBall approaches his square) Waiter, I think I'm in my soup!
Yamato: (Thinking he's about to be dropped into the soup) Man, I think this is it. I'm going down!
Terry: I hope we give 'em heartburn.
Yamato: (Hanging above the soup as an "ingredient") Hey, let me down. I'm so high-strung, I'd be stringy, and get caught in your teeth and, uh, require flossing. I'm just not good eats.
Wen: I better not lose. The last thing I want is hot and sour Yamato soup.
Marda B.'s magic takes control of 3 unnamed B-DaBattlers who happen to be a pig, a monkey, and a water sprite.
At the end of this episode, both Wen and Li leave Yamato and the others to stay in their hometown of Liken.
Character Debut(s): Mr. Browbeaten - Wen & Li's B-Daman mechanic; The B-DaSage (Pandoro) - A wise B-DaMaster, just like Armada.
The image of what Yamato thought Armada looked like in "Yamato & Terry's Excellent Adventure" before he met him is used once again in this episode. Only this time, it was used to portray what Marda B. may have looked like a thousand years ago.
Part of Marda B.'s big secret is revealed in this episode. He is said to have created the first B-DaBattles a thousand years ago. It was also said that he never lost a B-DaBattle, either.
B-Daman Debut(s): King Bakuso & King Rekuso.
B-DaMatch Style Debut(s): 6-Wall - You get points by aiming and hitting valued number panels (1-6) on a big board.
We learn that both Wen and Li are from the town of Liken.
The Japanese title for this episode is "Ultimate Cooking Battle!"
