Battle Creek

Show Summary

New drama Battle Creek focuses on two incompatible law enforcement officers whose polar opposite views of the word and crime-solving create annoyance and disdain, and a reluctant respect, as they clean up the streets of Battle Creek, Michigan.  Special Agent Milton Chamberlain (Josh Duhamel) comes to town and opens up an FBI field office at the police station where he picks Detective Russ Agnew (Dean Winters) to be his partner. Russ and Milt work long hours together and the question remains: Whose assets will prove to be the key to catching bad guys - Milt's charm and high-end resources or Russ's cynicism, guile and deception?

The series is produced by Sony Pictures Television in association with CBS Television Studios and executive produced by Vince Gilligan, David Shore, Mark Johnson, Bryan Singer, Russel Friend, Garrett Lerner and Tommy Moran.

  • Finally an entertaining, decent show and they are cancelling it

    9.0
I really like this show. It's wholesome in a funny, entertaining way. Don't cancel it. Give it another chance. This show is really good.
  • Please say it isn't so !

There are too many "cop shows" set in big cities with very similar story lines. Finally a show comes along that reflects a more true to life story line. It takes the time to develop both the characters and their lives. In this " I have to know everything now" society this show is a slice of real life cop drama. This is a show worth my time.
  • No,No, No this cancellation can't be true!

    9.5
I Don't think this show was even given a chance. It is a great show and one that I look forward to watching. Why do network executives not see that this type of clean, entertaining shows are what is needed to bring television back to being worth watching? Right now I am entertaining the idea of just getting rid of cable because there is nothing worth watching on TV anymore.
  • What? Cancelled? Come on!

    9.5
Can't believe this show has been cancelled! Great cast, great story lines. Could it be that Sunday night at 10:00 never gave them a chance? Why not give the a better time slot for the Summer before making the final decision. I only found it and gave it a chance because nothing else worth watching is on at 10:00 on Sunday.
  • Too good a show to be dropped

When CBS schedules a new show at 10:00 PM on a Sunday, what do you really think the ratings are going to be. This is possibly the worst time slot ever. Most people, including me, are tired by Sunday evening after a week-end of fun, visiting family, church, etc. and go to bed early to prepare for Monday. I do auto-record this show. It has become one of my favorites, and I watch it on Monday after I get of work. It would be a shame to not give this show a chance. The characters are just now being developed and in a good way.moreless
