In 2003, NBC attempted to revive The Battle of the Network Stars with a two-hour special. Taped in 2002, at the Squaw Creek Resort in Lake Tahoe, this special was not an intra-network contest as previous "battles" but was a competition between NBC stars only. The competition included "sea battles" on Sea-Doos an event where the competitors had to soar 10,000 ft. above sea level on a "Big Swing" over a cliff and a game of "Mountain Bowling".moreless
