    Did anybody ever get seriously hurt on this show? (I'm thinking of the older version.) I seem to remember people swinging on ropes, swimming, jumping over obstacles, and it looked pretty risky. These were stars of other shows, after all, and if they did anything too dangerous, it could mess up their career.

    Don't get me wrong, though. It was great fun to watch.

    I don't remember anyone getting seriously hurt in the obsticle course. 1976 Robert Hegyes hurt his shin/hamstring & Michelle Philips in 1977 strained her ankle.

    In IV in 1978, they say Bo Svenson injured his arm in the Frisbee toss but came back in time for the Tug of War, and in XIV in 1983, they say Adrian Zmed and Tracy Nelson sustained some injuries also.
