    • TRIVIA (2)

      • Right before the Fiery Phoenix, Jason sits down next to Tiny. But it's Casey Kasem who says, "I'll take over, Tiny," when it should have been either David Joliffe or Alan Oppenheimer.

      • 7-Zark-7 says G-Force will remain in the Fiery Phoenix mode for 24 hours, making it seem like this is a requirement. However, we see the team transmute back and forth whenever they please in later episodes.

    • QUOTES (1)

    • NOTES (2)

      • In the Japanese version, 'Keyop' is human and speaks properly. The most likely reason that Keyop's lines were changed is that the American writers found it troublesome to fill in his lines with English, either due to lack of a Japanese script, or cultural differences that made his remarks sound out of place. They also may have wanted to establish that he was NOT a human boy (hence he makes noises establishing him as a clone), as they didn't want to have a young kid shown in dangerous situations.

      • Since this was the pilot episode, there are many differences compared to the other 84 episodes: The images used in the opening credits, along with the Battle of the Planets font, are different. This is the only episode that 7-Zark-7 has an echoing voice. There are some non-music, non-dialogue moments that would have been filled in with Hoyt Curtin's score had this been a future episode. An example is when the team was in their Whirlwind Pyramid form. Ronnie Schell voiced Tiny, but provided the voice for Jason in episodes 2-85. This is the only episode where William Woodson is credited for his opening narration. The ending credits list David Joliffe and Alan Oppenheimer. Apparently, one of these men voiced Jason, and the other Spectra Commander, but it's unclear who voiced whom.
