This 10-part Web-only series fills in the gap between the end of Season Two and the beginning of Season Three. The episodes are available at the official Sci Fi Channel website (www.scifi.com/battlestar). No registration or subscription is required, but the videos are only available to U.S. residents at this time. The "webisodes" focus on Tigh and Tyrol's attempts to organize the resistance on New Caprica against Cylon rule. Meanwhile, Jammer and Duck have differing views about the best way to deal with the Cylons.moreless
  • I was kind of expecting more out of this

And I was expecting more of the regulars show up. What is Kara up to during this period as well as the other background characters besides Duck and Jammer?

It's a nice thing to see what's been going on since the end of last season (and it would have been expected to see some sort of resistence be formed) but the episodes are a bit boring I have to admit.

Also, did anyone make it into the 'woods' when they say the Cylons appear overhead? THat would have beent he first thing I would have thought of - to make it into 'cover'. We already know that you can 'hide out' there with small teams (such as when they were looking for the Arrow of Athena).

And for Tigh to consider such cutthroat tactics such as hiding munitions in a temple and striking near a hospital is a bit low even for him - or is this what he is like with alcohol.

As I said, an interesting filler.moreless
  • Teaser during initial release. Great its all together on the DVD.

I didn't think there was a way to want to watch full episodes more than watching bits and pieces at a time. This process drove me crazy and made me happy at the same time. Not only did I look forward to the release of each little pod cast but it left me wanting more and more after each installment. The storyline did the work to fill in the time between seasons and setup the storyline of what happened right before the first episode of season three. While it was mainly about the resistance, it did blend the battlestar storyline well into future episodes and explains the hatred of the cylons from different views.moreless
  • awesome

    "Perfect"
Before the start of season 3, part of the fleet that was left at new caprica lived their lives in agony. There's a resemblance of early 1940s france occupied by the nazis. The arrival of the cylons have put their lives in a stand still. We get to see how the resistance against the cylons formed. So much is shown with the 10 short episodes. Some main characters in the short episodes had a very pivotal roles that link to the events of season 3. The episodes were awesome, the writers came up with something to keep us entertained while waiting for the start of season 3. I really loved them.moreless
  • Ten 5 minute webisodes of BSG

    8.5
    "Great"
This are ten episodes focused on Resistance on New Caprica - mainly on Tigh, Tyrol and Cally. There are also few others, but they are not series regulars. Main plot is fight against Cylons, and desperate atempts of people to have a life. Resistance's idea to hide a weapons in temple leads to catastrophy: Duck's wife Nora is killed by Cylons, while Kally barely escapes death. Duck is devastated, but this makes him a part of the Resistance, while Jammer - as his friend - can not forgive himself for letting Tigh to hide a weapons in the temple.

Not one of the main 7 actors apears in this webisodes.moreless
  • An okay setup to the season 3 premiere

    6.5
    "Fair"
the webisodes were okay but kinda useless all of what happen in them were covered in the first episodes of season 3 Also they were way too short to do anything however it was nice to have something to hold me over until the season premiere but i rather have a more significant plot so that way it doesn\\\'t seem like a total waste of time. Th acting was good . Their wasn\\\'t really a climax or anything else it should be viewed as a extended opening to the first episode of season 3 It was commercial free but i was sick of the same s3 trailer why not cut that commercial out. Also they should combined them as one webisode just to make them easier to watchmoreless

    • (from Part 6) Tigh: Hey! We're not playing pattycake here! These bastards burned up 20 billion of us. You gonna say that's our fault too? Instead of bawling like a little girl, you should focus on getting some payback. Jammer: Is that all this is about to you? Blood for blood? Tigh: We're at war. War is messy. People get killed. Good people. Nice people. Get that through your head or get out. We don't need any crybabies in this outfit.
