I absolutely love the song that the Cylon-5 have been hearing and which, just recently, Kara Thrace played on the piano (Ep: "Someone To Watch Over Me"). Does anyone know the name of the song, or where I can find it? I've aquired the BSG discography, but it's not on there!

    Any help is much appreciated~

The music is a version of Bob Dylan's song, "All Along the Watchtower," specially arranged by series composer Bear McCreary, the lyrics sung by his brother Brendan McCreary .

I believe it is on Season 3 soundtrack, last ep just had a acoustic Piano version. The Best and Most Well Known cover is Jimi Hendrix's .

I absolutely adore BSG's cover for "All Along The Watchtower". You can find it on Season 3's soundtrack, which is definitely worth it.

I'd personally love to get a hold of the exact version they played in the episode. The lead in to Starbuck actually playing it was awesome and I've literally had the song in my head since. (Am I A Cylon? XD)

"That's the song," Tory says, in shock. But, the remarkable thing is that's not. As I mentioned earlier, there was no instrumental melody in Bob Dylan's "All Along the Watchtower" that would work for this episode's needs. As a result, the music they're hearing is in fact, my music: The Final Four Theme.

The thing that I love, is that Dylan had to give his permission for the song to be in here. I wonder if he's a fan of the show. Has anybody heard anything about that? It would be so cool to learn that Bob Dylan is a BSG fan!
