You could try out one of the videos there to see if it works, even over dial-up. Maybe there's a setting to let you see it at a lower resolution.

If that doesn't work, we'll try to keep you up-to-date with each new episode.

I'm assuming that we'll see many if not all of the regular characters from the show but nothing has been confirmed yet.

Will the webisodes be available in Central Europe?

I'm asking because the Eureka webisodes don't seem to work for me.

For all of you wondering about what happened during the "lost year" and about the resistance on New Caprica, Sci Fi has something to tide you over during this long wait in the darkness before Season 3 airs (all the way in October). The new broadband video site, Sci Fi PULSE, will air 10 Web-only episodes under the title "Battlestar Galactica: The Resistance." It's supposed to fill in the gap between the end of Season 2 and the beginning of Season 3.

Just to clarify for everyone, Battlestar Galactica: The Resistance doesn't show what happened during the 'lost year' it in fact shows what happens between the end of season 2 and the beginning of season 3. So that's the few months that have passed in time by the season 3 opener.

The bits of info that we need to know about what happened in the 'lost year' will be shown in flashbacks during the main show, mostly in one flashback dedicated episode early on in the season.

Am muchly looking forward to the webisodes, been too long since my last bsg fix!

It's probably easier to avoid that Sci Fi Pulse page and just go to the BSG home page. From there you can access the BSG Video Page. (Click on the link to go directly to the BSG Video Page.)

Oh, about the Web episodes--they're not available yet. Next Tuesday you should see a link on the BSG Video Page for "The Resistance."

Actually there is a new link for the THE RESISTANCE on the main BSG page. It's probably easiest to just go to that page instead of the Videos page.

There is a link for a preview of the 1st Web episode but it doesn't seem to be working yet. The 1st episode should be available in 3 days.

Part 1 will show the dangers that Tyrol and Tigh face while trying to recruit new soldiers into the resistance against the Cylon occupiers on New Caprica.

Part 1 is now available at the Sci Fi site. It is about 3 ½ minutes long. It is followed by a 30 second preview of Season Three. The preview appears to be the same as one of the versions already shown on the regular Sci Fi Channel.

Saul Tigh is clean-shaven in the Webisode. He also has two healthy eyes (i.e., no eyepatch yet). Tyrol already has a full mustache and beard. He and Cally have a baby. There isn't too much action in this part but it's interesting to see Tigh, Tyrol and Cally in a brand new scene. Jammer and Duck also show up. Does anyone know the name of Duck's wife?

I wouldn't say that this part is vital for fans to watch but since it's only 3 ½ minutes long, why not take a look?

I live in the UK and all I get is a message saying "your video will start playing after a short advertisment" which i think means that people outside the US cannot watch the resistance, which is slightly odd as the eureka webseries state it is US only (and also i think sky in the UK still co-produce?). Anyone else have this problem - is it a location or technical thing?

It wouldn't work for me either. I live in Australia so I guess that it's for US (and Canada??) only.
