Loved the ending! Loved it loved it loved it! I sorted expected there would be some griping, but I didn't expect this much! I guess all I can say is don't blame the show or Ron Moore if you are too literal to understand that nuance of the ending. Of course Kara was an angel or agent of God. She was dead! Why didn't she know? Because she didn't need to know. She had a job to do and she did it. When it was over, she understood. ("It feels good!") I had no problem with that.
The fact that they give up their ships also made sense to me. Look at the destruction having those ships caused? They were home, they wanted to strip it down, simplify. After all they went through, why wouldn't they want to do that? The Centurians could come back ('It's a risk."), but the humans and Cylons gave them their freedom. What would be served to destroy them?
I thought it was a beautiful, epic, elegaic ending to a series I very much enjoyed. Won't let a bunch of disgruntled fanboys ruin it for me!
