Syfy (ended 2010)
Firstly: LLLOOOVVVVEEEDDD IIIITTT!!!
I find it funny that i just barely request an episode just like this before i watched it! So many answers and so many questions. fully Battlestar style, i am hanging on to the next so badly i think i might freeze myself.
Daniel...i think he is almost def Kara. it fits so well, but in a kinda boring way i find, i had hoped for more from her.
I take back ALL my previous statements about Ellen. i am sooo sorry Ellen i think you are the perfect person to act as the 5. Sorry it took me so long.
We finally know why the final 5 are fundementally different to the original (or not so original) 7. They are the creators.
We know there is a cylon homework (EDIT: homeworld, sorry bet u can figure what i was meant to be doing tonight) somewhere now, previously (for me anyway) this has been speculation.
Cavil...or John as I think we'll call him now. John you lying lying fra*khe*d. I knew you knew more than you were explaining. You have lead both humans and cylons to this point with you destructive ways. ohh im looking for some justice myself.
Galatica falling apart. Acting as a symbol of the fleet. falling apart but brought together by combining with the cylons.
So 13 cylons, 5 original, 8 created, one boxed/corrupted. 13 planets. Earth. galatica failing. This final season is finishing far beyond my wildest dreams and expectations. Thanks forever to the wonderful writers.
I felt like my brain was going to explode after watching this episode. There was a ridiculous amount of information to look at and process that it almost seemed like it was too much. But I will say that I thought this was definitely one of the most well-handled revelation type episodes I've seen. Daniel, Cylon resurrection, the birth of the eight models, Ellen knowing the truth! It was definitely awesome, though I'll have to watch it again to process all of the information.
What about Kara? After watching the episode I Think I heard Anders said that they make 8 models. So with the original five and the 8 created we have 13 models. I think Kara is the daniel model. Ellen said that Cavil aka John mess with the tank that contanied the Daniel model, maybe Cavil turned the model into the female model and we get Kara. Daniel was artist and Kara is one too (The Demitrius paintings she made) so that makes me think she is the Daniel model. Also I think the new Kara was made in Ellens lab that Cavil mentioned that still exist and was the place all the colonies models were made. We have not seen the Daniel model so maybe Kara is the Daniel model.
BINGO!!! i so reckon that too. Thats why she painted the temple circle while on Caprica and all the paintings on the Demetrius, and why she acts more like a guy than a girl.
I think the Cylon god is false, the centurians thought the first hybrid was god. That's just my thought.
The 12 colony centurians believed in a god before the hybrids were ever created. Ellen said the reason they created the 8 humanoid bodies and probably the hybrids too for them was because they believed in a one true God and thought they wouldnt repeat what their counter parts had done on Earth.
I'm not really sure how it is only Cavil that seems to know that the final 5 were the creators. If Cavil was jealous about the seven, then he knew the creators and then wouldn't 2-6 have known them as well. Maybe he erased that knowledge from their programming.
I'm just relieved we are getting proper answers and they aren't glossing too much over
Another item to consider is the incestuous relationship between Ellen and Cavil on New Caprica. Cavil keeps referring to Ellen as the creator and something like a mother figure (although a mother he despises). And yet, one of the Cavils had a very intense sexual relationship with Ellen on New Caprica. In light of what we learned in this episode, that relationship now seems kind of stomach-churning. But maybe it's not so much a mother-son relationship as it is like the relationship between the old Greek gods and the "lesser" humans on Earth. Zeus had many affairs with humans, particularly Zeus. I don't think Hera (the Greek goddess) had any affairs with mortal men but I may be wrong about this.
