Kara punched in the numbers in the emergency jump from the song in her head, how did the fleet find them so fast?

    God did it.

They sent out a raptor to the rendezvous coordinates and gave them the new coordinates. Well just a guess anyway.

Even God starts to spread thin over quite so many plot holes. I really didn't like Baltar's line "one might even say there was a divine hand in it", which is supposed to excuse the odds of finding nothing but Algae in the emptiness of space for 4 years and then finding another, unrelated human tribe after punching a Bob Dylan song into the on board computer.

Another thing I didn't get; why did old (nuked) Earth have the colonial constellations that we can see in our sky too? Are we on Earth 1 or Earth 2?

That's what I assumed but that doesn't make much sense really. Wouldn't they have checked the rendevouz point before the battle and thus discovered it was a habitable planet with humans. It just seemed a little too much to put down to God.

Rendezvouz point was not the Earth. It was somewhere else, but Galactica obviously knew where it is. After they end up on Earth they send a raptor to the rest of the fleet and give their new coordinates.

    And we are on Earth-2.

Yeah they said in the episode that they sent a raptor. Hoshi said how surprised he was when the raptor popped into the fleet and led them there.

Correct - it was said quickly, but it's there if you watch it again.

Yeah. When they were laying in the grass looking at the tribe of hunters, Hoshi mentioned that when he gave the admiral pins back to Bill.
