It looks like Sci Fi won't be showing repeats of BSG once the season ends on March 10. They are showing "Doctor Who" in the 9 pm time slot while repeats of "Stargate Atlantis" move to the 10 pm time slot on Friday nights, at least through the end of March.

Is this an attempt to sell more dvds?...or is it to get more viewers to watch Stargate Atlantis?

All three Friday night shows have very similar ratings, usually between 1.7 and 2.1 million viewers. The title of most-watched Sci Fi Network show varies from week to week among the three.

It's probably an attempt to push repeat lovers to iTunes. BSG has been doing fairly well there, hasn't it? I think it's been in the Top 10 list a bit...

the dvd/itunes theory makes sense to me...

is SGA or SG1 also ending their seasons on 3/10? It could be just that they don't want to lose audience numbers with repeats,
