I'm thinking that they will but not until the very end, or possibly the episode 'someone watching over me'

Well... teh final five were warned... someone saw a man, someone a woman, and noone else could see them... that seams almost like the "head-cylons" and they might have appeared to the final five before the earth-holocaust!

It's one of Anders' memories. It's why the five worked to recreate resurrection technology and put the ship in orbit for when it hit the fan. I didn't catch it the first time through because he's giving so much information.

Anders: "Stay with the Fleet, it's all starting to happen, it's the miricle, right here, it's a gift from The Angels!" - No Exit

To me, this was a direct reference to the "Head" characters. Also Ron Moore said he knows what they are, and that he will explain them (at least to some degree) so I don't think you need to worry about them forgetting about the head characters

For the episode " The Road Less Travelled", there was a scene filmed where Head-Six bids goodbye to Baltar for good. She tells him, " As one journey begins, others must end. You're not alone anymore, Gaius. There'll be other angels to guide you. But you have your faith now. And you'll be tested in ways you cannot possibly imagine." The scene was cut from the final episode, so it seemed like she just dissapeared without explaination. It's in the deleted scenes on the DVD.

Yeah, that scene really should have been in the episodes...because it was somewhat confusing without it.

But the head characters will be explained. And it isn't only Baltar and Six who see them. As mentioned above, the five were warned by them about the impending attack on Earth.
