    1) Battlestar Galactica

    2) Babylon 5

    3) Farscape

    4) The X-Files

    5) Stargate

    When we look at the top quality sci-fi series which one is better and WHY it is better ?

    In my opinion best is Babylon 5 ( its pre-planned story arc , character development and detailed universe is best I have ever seen ) Then Battlestar Galactica with its heavy drama and acting. Then The X-Files with story , characters and its mythology. Farscape close to fourth with excellent detailed universe , character development and interaction. Stargate is bottom level of barrel with no character development , no drama and "save the Earth every week" episodes.

    What are your comments ?

    it's the best show, there's nothing like it in entire TV Show history.

    Well I like Eureka the most but its not on the list. The only two sci fi series i watch are Eureka and BSG and I like Eureka better and Eureka is the only reason I started watching the sci fi channel and thats how i met or start to watch BSG.

    I'm going to lock this topic. It's not really about BSG or BSG fans. I think this belongs on the Science-Fiction forum since you are looking for comparisons among different sci-fi shows. You'll get a broader range of opinions over there since not everyone here watches sci-fi shows beyond BSG.
