Battlestar Galactica

When the fleet's fuel supply runs dangerously low Boomer and Crash discovers a new fuel supply enough to supply the fleet for years on a nearby asteroid. The downside: The Cylons have set up a remote base on that asteroid. Realizing that there is no other option that they have Adama orders an attack on the Cylon base.

Unfortunately with her knee still in bad shape Starbuck is forces to sit out of the fight leaving Apollo in command of the strike force but Starbuck refuses to remain a spectator and devises a plan to use three off the fleet's ships as decoys to lure the Cylon patrols away from the base, before the strike Adama gives Apollo a lighter that Apollo's Grandfather wore (A lucky lighter) Apollo says: "I'll bring it back" and Adama replies "you'd better or I'll kick your ass". The attack does not go according to plan when on the first strike it's discovered that the base has more Raiders than thought and they change course heading directly for Galactica.

Starbuck and Adama unleashes a new trick up their sleeve by unloading a second wave of Raptors hidden in one of the freighter decoys led by Apollo.

The Cylons have yet another trick up their sleeves when it's discovered that they are able to control the guidance of locked missiles, sending the Raptor's missiles into space instead of directly at the base. Apollo discovers a back door into the base by flying through an access tunnel the Cylons use for mining operations which leads him right into the heart of the base out of range of the Cylon's defences, Apollo drops a missile (literally) in front of the base's power supply and gets the hell out of the base, which then explodes sending the base sky high.

Following the destruction of the base the Raiders approaching Galactica scatter from formation which the first wave of Raptors hunt down and destroy.

Meanwhile President Roslin's condition continues to worsen when during a press conference about the shortage of fuel she starts to hallucinate and sees twelve snakes on her podium. She later discovers that her vision of the snakes may fulfill an ancient prophecy that a leader successfully leads his colony to a new world but dies before the he can step foot on the new world.

Back on Galactica the crew celebrates their first major victory against the Cylons. Starbuck also congratulates Apollo saying she couldn't have done a better job herself. Apollo keeps his end of the bargain by returning the lighter to Adama.

On his 37th day on Caprica, Helo discovers that Boomer has fallen ill when she doesn't take her anti-radiation medicine. Helo discovers No. 6 alive on Caprica followed by a Cylon search party, Helo is confused but doesn't waste any time as he and Boomer get away from the Cylons as fast as their legs can take them.
