An enjoyable episode as a tv news host named "Riptide" Roger is televising the lifeguard update from his helicopter, as he is also the pilot. All of the lifeguards don't like him apart from Lani, who thinks he is funny. Wherever there is action, he is there.

He knows personal information regarding everyone of the lifeguards and says it live on tv for the public to hear. So there must be a spy in Baywatch giving him the info? Mitch isn't happy with his humurous news work and tries to get him fired!

Caroline is back from New York and her big broadway debut didn't go so well, so decides to start lifeguarding again and thinks this is where her career is. Cody let J.D. sleep in her bed till she got back.... so she comes home and finds J.D. ! she thinks he is cute and sparks are starting to fly. Taylor signs her to the mother beach, where it is boring and isn't really the ocean, she wants to be where the action is and wants to move to a different tower.

Later on at Caroline's tower, she sees a shark and who is there, you guessed it "Riptide" Roger... his cameraman falls out into the water and "Riptide" tries to save him, but ends up putting his helicopter in the water and his seat buckle is stuck, so he sinks to the bottom. Mitch and Newmie end up saving "Riptide" and Caroline ends up saving Taylor from a close shark attack!

The Baywatch spy ended up being Newmie's girlfriend and she hugs "Riptide" after he is saved...Newmie can't believe it and only told her stories that he had been told - therefore making Newmie the spy.

A great episode with some great lifeguard saves and lots of action - a must see!
