Baywatch

An underwater photographer named Linda is attacked inside a sea cave. Her boat is destroyed and her partner Walt is killed. Mitch rescues her. Because she doesn´t know what attacked her, everyone think it´s a sea monster. When Linda talks to Devon, another lifeguard, she can´t give her any good information about what really happened down there.

Kaye Morgan, a newspaper reporter from The Westside Press, writes in her paper that a sea monster attacked Linda. Because of Kaye´s article, the lifeguards find themselves dealing with an often comical yet dangerous situation created by media hype and speculation that there is a "creature in the bay". This brings lots of people to the beach.

Meanwhile, Shauni has to rescue a nine-year old girl named Tiana when she falls of a jetty. She has come to the beach with her brother Jordan. Later, when Shauni goes to visit them in a rough neighborhood, some gang-members try to hijack her car but Tiana´s mother takes Shauni away from them. Also, Shauni´s father Robert doesn´t like what Shauni is doing. He is convinced that life-guarding is just about working on your tan and flirting with guys. This upsets Shauni.
