First of all I've got to say that I'm a big fan of storms. There's just something about a storm that excites me, so the prospect of a storm episode seemed very appealing to me, and it turned out to be as well.
The Baywatch lifeguards found themselves kidnapped in their own station by two criminals, who have previously shot Garner while he was on patrol. The story was pretty great, as I liked the interaction between the characters. The criminals weren't exactly all that, but overall execution was okay.
The reason why this episode succeeded, in my opinion, is the blooming of love between Eddie and Shauni. I have been waiting for them to hook up for some time. Their conversation about kisses was just a prelude to a great night they spent together.
The other two stories included Hobie spending the night with a new girl, and Captain Thorpe auditioning to be a radio star. The Hobie stuff was better, as we saw two kids bonding, while the Thorpe stuff was tolerable, but it felt somehow out of place with the whole storm thing - almost as if it could have been done in a different episode. Also, I don't seem to like Trevor all that much. He was growing on me during the last few episodes, but I can't really say I liked him today.moreless
