After the last disastrous episode, this one manages to pick up a little. It's quite obvious that the writing has changed drastically (also quite visible since the writers from the first season didn't return), so now we have other writers with other ideas, which sometimes might not be that well plotted.
This episode was okay. It was nice seeing Mitch's brother. I was worried we'd have Kyle turning into some psycho or doing something weird, but he's a good kid overall, and his story was okay. But damn, Mitch's brother has got a lot of responsibility to take on. Plus, the new Hobie is an okay actor.
The sub-story which didn't really take up a lot of airtime was funny when those girls lost their tops. Thankfully, we didn't have Harvey today, and we didn't have a lot of Ben. I don't know why, but I don't like this character at all. I'd choose Thorpe as a secondary character any day.moreless
