Neely finds Hobie in the weight room. He has hurt a muscle and Neely offers to massage him. She massages the affected muscle just as Mitch is entering the room. He becomes upset and wonders what Neely is doing. He thinks that her behavior is inappropriate and is convinced that she comes onto Hobie just to get even with him. When Newmie and J.D. enter headquarters, she starts crying and tells Mitch how hard she is trying and that she is sorry for all the mistakes she might have done. J.D. and Newmie are shocked and Mitch tells them what a good actress Neely is. Later Neely gives Alex a hostile work environment complaint. After receiving this complaint from Neely, Alex confronts Mitch. She knows that the charges are pretty serious. Mitch tells her his side of the story and Alex doesnt know whom to believe. When a woman gets into trouble, Neely is forced to rescue her. With her fist flailing, the victim hits Neely in the eye. This leaves Neely with a huge bruise under her eye. When Neely has gone back to her tower, an upset Mitch arrives and asks her why she is lying about him. When Alex arrives, Neely runs out to her crying and tells her that Mitch hit her. Alex doesnt know what to believe. When the Chief finds out about all this, Mitch gets suspended. Neely is convinced that Alex is on Mitchs side and decides to spike her coffee with pills. When Alex returns to drink her coffee, she almost faints and Newmie and J.D. are forced to carry her to a couch. When they are going to help Alex to the couch, her purse falls down and the pills falls down on the floor. When Alex has recovered from her medication, she sets out to find Neely. Many lifeguards join her on her way there. Everyone finds out that Neely placed the pills in Alexs coffee and that the same kind of pills were found in Neelys locker. Neely threats Alex and tells her that she will go to the Chief about the this. But the Chief is behind Alex 100 %. Alex tells Neely to quit her job now before anything else happens. Then Neely calls Alex a stupid little bitch and Alex hit her. After that, she orders everyone to go back to their posts. Later when Mitch is packing his stuff, Alex and Hobie arrive and tell Mitch the good news that Neely has quit Baywatch and Hobie is moving back home again. Mitch is thrilled and cant wait to help Hobie unpack his stuff again. Also, Hobie and Manny examine the bulletin board announcing the Long Beach to Catalina SeaDoo race. They talk about entering. They make a bet and the loser washes the other ones lifeguard trucks for a month. During a rescue under a pier, Manny puts himself between his victim and the pile. He is rushed to the hospital and once there, he finds out that he will be paralyzed for life. Manny takes this very hard and doesnt want to see any of his friends, including April. April races for Manny in the Catalina SeaDoo race and ends up winning the race finishing ahead of Hobie, Newmie and J.D. Later April sees Manny in a wheelchair trying to get onto the beach. After realizing that he can not get onto the sand, he decides to leave the area.moreless
