I don't think, that this episode was as great as the two-hour series premiere. Although, it was a wonderful episode to get to learn about the characters, and I believe they set up a few storylines in the plot.
We learned that Skye's dad, Mr. Emerson, was trying to bribe Clare's mom to approve something on the city board. So, she set him up, and he get arrested since he was a public official. Now that Clare and Skye are on the outs, Nell has to find a way to push them back together before they end up like her mom's generation of Beach Girls.
In another plot, Jack is still curious about his late wife's secret bank account. In the adventure to find answers, he just spurs up more questions to be answered.
Meanwhile, all is falling apart in the Emerson household. Mother and daughter are disconnecting, and Skye is troubled on what she should do, so she goes to see Cooper. Cooper of course being the gentleman, unhooks the secret camera. Not to worry however, his buddies had set up a second one. (SPOILER:) We see in the previews the video is leaked onto the internet, and makes quite an impression.
