Famous Dead guy: Robert Bunsen (1811-1899), whose laboratory developed the Bunsen burner.
Bunsen: Behold mein burner, which I perfected in 1855!
Lester: Behold my burper, which I am still perfecting. (belches)
Beakman: My brain is itching with questions trying to get out. Scratch me with a question, Phoebe.
Beakman: May we have a drum roll, please?
Lester: May I have a kaiser roll, please?
(on sewage skimmers)
Phoebe: Hey! We could use one of those for your tub after your annual bath!
Lester: FYI, I don't take an annual bath. I take one once a year.
Phoebe: Loose wax lips sink wax ships. It's time to scorch your skull! Here he is, the pianist of perspicacity, the flautist of fecundity, the Eddie "Cleanhead" Vinson of the scientific convincin', ze one, ze only, ze Beakman!
Beakman: You winch 'em, I'll pinch 'em, lets shing-a-ling!
While waiting for Beakman to return from the sewers, Phoebe is reading a copy of Gray's Anatomy of the Human Body, which was first published in 1858, and is the namesake for the television show Grey's Anatomy. The version Phoebe's reading would most likely be the 38th edition (published in 1995, when this episode was filmed).
