This episode features a visit from fictional character Lemuel Gulliver, from Gulliver's Travels. In the novel, he visited the island of Lilliput populated by people much smaller than him, Brobdignag, populated by people much larger than himself and other realms. He is depicted as ridiculously tiny and demonstrates the rule of scale.
Lester: Mmmmmm... onions, nectar of the noxious!
Beakman: And then there's the face-peeling, knee-buckling barf breath that can clear an elevator between floors! (about bad breath)
Lester: Wait a minute, are you saying you went to a human mouth on your vacation?
Beakman: You know, Lester, some of the very best vacations are right under your nose.
Lester: I have not yet begun to disgust!
Lester: (with a shell to his ear) You know what's weird, I hear Billy Ocean.
Phoebe: Let's give a big Those Disgusting Animals welcome to worms!
Lester: Taxi!
Phoebe: Many worms are hermaphrodities which means they have both male and female organs.
Lester: That's a little bit more than I need to know!
Phoebe: Say hello to the ever popular manure worm!
Lester: You mean, these guys actually live in manure?
Worm: Well, we don't live in Cincinnati!
Lester: You know, there's nothing so satisfying than a good vintage manure. I always forget which manure goes well with fish.
Worm: White zinfam-bug.
Lester: Compost... that's something I could really get into.
Beakman: I'm incontinent with curiosity. Phoebe, diaper me with a question!
Phoebe: Hey, where's Dr. Lemuel Gulliver?
Lester: I don't know. Maybe Beakman hasn't been keeping up payments on his smoky door of history.
Tiny Voice: Help me! Help me!
Phoebe: Do you hear that?
Lester: Yeah, where's it coming from?
Tiny Voice: Help me! Help me!
Phoebe: Lester, it's your feet!
Lester: I knew they could smell, but I never heard them talk!
Lester: You mean, a cube is supposed to be the same height, width and length?
Phoebe: Much like you.
Lester: Oh... hey!
Phoebe: So, Shaylyn Officer of Enid, Oklahoma, I wouldn't lose any strength about giant insects.
Beakman: They may make good movies, but they make bad science.
Phoebe: We're out of time!
Beakman: And out of breathable air!
(because of Lester's breath through the episode)
Phoebe: Let's put on our rally caps! It's time to ignite your id! Here he is, the HOD carrier of hilarity, the bricklayer of brilliance, the Audrey Landers of the 'druffs and danders... (beat boxing) The one, the only, the Beakman!
Beakman: You snare them. I'll scare them. Let's cabbage patch!
This episode has a visit from a fictional character instead of a historical character.
Mentioned in the Beakmania intro, Audrey Landers is the older sister of Judy Landers. Audrey was a popular Seventies soap star whose primetime appearances on BJ and The Bear and Dallas made her a popular sex symbol and pin-up star.
Billy Ocean mentioned by Lester was a famous singer from the Eighties known for several songs, including "Get Out Of My Dreams (And Into My Car).
