Episode Summary

EDIT
Great Ball of Firefighters
AIRED:
Bear is in charge of refreshments for the Woodland Valley Firefighter's Ball and Otto and Etta Otter have come to the Big Blue House to help out. As Bear heads to Mouse School to pick up Tutter, they work with Treelo, Pip and Pop to get things ready. At Mouse School, Tutter finds out that the mice kids are planning to do a dance called "The Mumble Mambo" at the ball --- one with which he's not familiar at all. At the movie theater, Ojo watches a classic film with Doc Hogg and gets her own idea of just what a ball should be like. When it comes time for the actual ball, neither have a good time, until Bear helps them to see past their expectations.moreless

    • QUOTES (4)

      • Luna: Life is full of surprises, Bear. All the times I've looked down on the Earth, I've never seen the same picture twice. It's amazing. But the one thing you can always expect is the unexpected.
        Bear: Mmm.
Luna: And once you accept that, then you're ready fand willing for life to surprise you.

      • Bear: That was without a doubt the best firefighter's ball Woodland Valley has ever had. Of course, this was the only firefighter ball Woodland Valley's ever hard. I can't wait to tell Luna all about it. Come on, let's go tell her.

      • Tutter: It's raining Roquefort, Bear. Roquefort!
        Bear: Roquefort? Tutter, what's wrong?
Tutter: Well, I just found out that there's this new dance and all the mice at the school are gonna be diong it at the ball, Bear. Tonight! And I don't know it.

      • Bear: Wow. Everybody sure has a lot of expectations about tonight's Firefighter's Ball. Say, do you an expectation is? Expectation. It's a big word, isn't it? Well, an expectation is something you think or expect to happen in the future.
