    In Season 3 of Beast Wars Optimus said that they couldn't destroy Megatron because he was holding the original Megatron's spark and doing that would cause a time storm that could lead to the destruction of Cybertron itself. Megatron was destroyed here but why wasn't there a time storm of any kind?

    On the Beast Wars season 3 dvd there is a deleted scene that showed Optimus Primal take the original Generation I Megatron's spark out of the Beast Wars/Beast Machines Megatron, making sure the timeline remained mostly unchanged. That's why when Megatron died in Beast Machines there wasn't a time storm.
