It really wasn't a bad show. It's just different. You can't compare it in relation to BW.

This show was ok but not nearly as good as Beast Wars. On the other hand, Beast Wars had different writers then Beast Machines.

This was a good show it's just taken people a little while to come around to it.

I think it's a great spin-off to a great series like Beast Wars.

i was so insanly pumped for the dvd of this, i had to order mine from online cause i couldn't find it anywhere else in stores for cheap. Beast Machines was a great continuation of Beast Wars simply becuase it got kind of deep and I think it showed a darker side of the story.

beast machines was the continuations of beastwars not a spin off... a spin off would be the life of protoform x (ie rampage) or something...

Beast machines is just beast wars, but the producers couldn't get the rights so tey had to change the name.

I won a copy completely by accident, and I have to say, I'm lovin' it, as are my sibs.  I had vauge memories of watching this, but really, it's a very well-written show.  Dunno that I'd pay $60 for it, but I think I am gonna try and get my hands on Beast Wars, since everyone says it's even better (even if it lacks Jetstorm and Thrust, me and my sister's favorite characters).

This show sucked compared to Beast Wars.  I mean, I was a huge fan of Beast Wars and I watched all of Beast Machines, but I still think they could of had a way better continuation of the series over this.  So many of the characters were so mistreated in this.  Like Rattrap was so stupid in this show for a long time, and Rhinox did not deserve the fate he received in this show.

I got that box set, and it rocks! I didn't pay $60 for it though, I think it was $30 with shipping. If you can get it for less than $40, I suggest you get it.
