  • I love this episode!

Okay, I don't see why this episode got such a low score. I personally thought that this episode was excellent and was very well written. In the previous episode, you were led to believe that Megatron was finally gotten rid of once and for all. But, would it really be that easy? I think not, no! When Nightscream attacked Megatron's spark with his sonic scream, he did not destroy him like the Maximals were led to believe, but his spark was merely de-polarized and made him undetectable by Optimus, even with his connection to the Oracle.

The episode opens with a red spark flying around some pipes, shattering through them, and then goes to the maximals celebrating their victory and capture of the sparks. Optimus then sends the maximals to complete some tasks (Silverbot and Blackarachnia to see if there are any usuable bodies in the junk yard, Rattrap and Botanica to take care of the orchard, and Cheetor and Nightscream to find Obsidian and Strika). Cheetor and Nightscream convince the two Vehicon Generals (not including Thrust) and they TEMPORAILY join the Maximals. Meanwhile, Silverbolt and Blackarachnia go to the junk yard, where a "frankenstein" type robot attacks them, but Silverbolt and Blackarachnia defeat it.

Meanwhile, Rattrap and Botanica fought and... kissed? That's right, they kissed, a total twist. Later, they get attacked by a combination of broken Vehicon parts, possessed by the same entity that attacked Silverbolt and Blackarachnia.

After that incident, Cheetor, Nightscream, Obsidian, and Strika are all attacked by a Jet drone, but they win against it barely. The whole team goes back to Maul Megatron (I think that's what the Megatron head-thing was dubbed) and determine that the entitey is heading for the base. And, as predicated, it does. Rattrap realizes that the entity is simply a de-polarized spark, and finds a way to re-polarize it using a spark extractor. He fused the spark to a diagnostic drone body, making him weak? Nay nay, Megatron will kick butt no matter what he's in, even if it was a mail-box, and we all know it. Obsidian and Strika then take him away from the base, and he chews them out majorally. But, my favorite part of this episode was the ending quote that Megatron gave.

"If I am to regain control of the sparks, time for action is now!" And the episode ended with that, possibly one of the most painful cliffhangers I have ever seen.moreless
