The first episodes were not really interesting. But episode by episode it become more and more facinating, till it reached a point that I forgot anything about the first episodes and decided that I like it and it's one of my favourite shows. However, at the last episodes it became terrible (after the episode they entered mirfild). So many plot holes, things that don't make sense, forced-drama situations that are not convincing. This show definitely betrayed by trust and I doupt that I will keep following it next season and I'm not the kind of people that easily stop watching a show as I usually want to see the end. But it's one thing to make some mistakes, which I accept and forgive, and another to force lame drama/action scenes. You just don't respect your audience when you do so. (I put 3.5 just for the middle of the season. The start was like 5, the end deserves a 0).
Looking forward to numer of seasons of this show. One of the best tv I've seen in a while. Colored with fun, action and an actual, interesting and engaging 3
We don't just like it, us Beastie LIVE it! The characters come alive in every episode; we cry with them, laugh with them, get excited for them, root for them.. sometimes want to hit them over the head but at the end of the day, we LOVE them! There must be something REALLY special about this show to harness the fans that they have and garnered that much popularity overseas. Beauty and the Beast deserves more than a second season WE WANT MORE!
Well i watched a lot of series and sometimes one show seduces you and i felt thids when i watched Batb first time! I'm became totally addict and a Because this show is like a crescendo: each episode bring you tears, surprise and smile bc tje VinCat relationship is epic! No differences when true love exist :) i love this couple and other caracters like JT so sweet, funny and a TRUE friend! And this show have an international fan support and that is AMAZING and Batb deserves a second season! Last thing: thanks writers and actors for this episode 15 so sensual me so HOT love scene is just perfect and i'm sure all beasties share my idea ;)
I love this show! It touches my heart and makes you want true love so badly! Its an amazing cast and crew! The writers are awesome too! This is a must watch show!!!
What got me hook, is that I found this show 'refreshing' from what's on tv right now... it's a mix of everything... but mostly about something that we don't have much in TV these days and its a one simple word.... Love.
I've never felt compelled to comment or write a review for Any TV show that I've watched, no matter how good of a show I thought it to beuntil now. I have been watching Beauty and the Beast since it first aired last October, and while the pilot episode didn't exactly knock my socks off, I decided to stick with it because I was curious to see how they were going to develop this classic story and I'm so glad I did! With each passing week this show has been getting better and better. The combination of great writing, directing and incredible characters has got me hooked. This show has action, drama, humour and a sweet, honest and Epic romance between the Beauty and her Beast. The entire cast is made up of supremely talented actors, and the chemistry between the lead characters is incredibly intoxicating! If you haven't watched the show yet, or watched it in the beginning but kind of let it go, you should definitely watch tonight's all new episode. It promises to be HOT!
Some people who only watched the pilot and never tuned into Beauty and the Beast again will probably think that I'm exaggerating. The thing is, I am really not.
The truth is that I wasn't sure about this show after the pilot but I kept watching because I found the concept and the cast intriguing. I did not regret it - by episode 4 I was hooked and now, awaiting episode 15, I can say that this is one of the most worthy dramas on TV in a long while. And mind you, I am not a teenager and I have watched a whole lot of television in my day.
This show is very, very well written and the stories are brought to life by a highly gifted cast. Anyone who loves shows that revolve around relationships and are populated with well written characters who have emotional depth to them should not miss this show. Obviously, this show's focus lies on Vincent and Catherine, the two protagonists of the show, and on their relationship. However, the writers are very committed to telling their love story by keeping it real - and they are doing a fantastic job. The supporting cast is perfectly positioned within the story and the plot is very tight.
If you are tired of shows that dance around the "will-they-won't-they" question for seasons and seasons on-going till you don't care if they actually will or not, then you will love Beauty and the Beast. This show manages the balancing act between epic love story and intelligent storytelling in the most satisfying way, simultaneously providing truly intriguing plotlines. Hopefully the show will stick around long enough to get the attention it deserves.
#BATB deserves the recognition that it deserves, the brilliant writers and actors have delivered for me the best show on the CW network ever. This isn't a Disney thing it's the real deal thing; love, cops, action, drama, suspense, jealousy, science, family, friends, secrets and lies (lots of it ) I could go on.
I have never been so addicted to a TV show like this before I find myself counting down the days, hours, minutes and seconds for the next episode to arrive.
Those who have seen 1-3 episodes and made a decision that it is not worth watching anymore are missing out on what #Beasties the world over have been setting Twitter/Getglue/Youtube on fire about since the show began. #GiveBATBSecondSeason it's truly deserving of one. If CW cannot do that then I hope another network picks it up because it is worthy of many seasons.
I am not one of those fans who loved the show since the second it premiered, I've had more of hate-acceptance-love-addiction relationship with it and this is pretty much how it went-->
EPISODE 1 this show is lame, I'll give it 2 more eps EPISODE 2 Not as bad as the pilot but still sorta boring I think I'll stop watching... EPISODE 3 OK, that was sort of interesting I guess I'll keep watching EPISODE 4 Jay Ryan is hot EPISODE 5 Jay Ryan is really hot... EPISODE 6 OMG! WTF? what is going on? When is the next episode?? EPISODE 7, 8, 9 This is so insanely interesting! Can't wait for next week what? hiatus.... NO! And.... you pretty much get the picture
As someone who previously hated the show I can't stress enough that it got exponentially better. I am not a casual television viewer. I watch a lot of television and I can honestly said, once it found its tone and pace this show became really good. The writing is on the right track, story lines move quickly, information is revealed every episode, every character has an interesting arc and relationships are believable. I am not going to compare this with Mad Men or anything like that, but I would even argue that it is the best show on The CW right now. I think the quality of the story is superior to other more hyped shows like Arrow .
I am willing to bet anything that anyone who doesn't like the show hasn't watched more than 2 episodes, because if they had they would change their tune. I understand it may not be everyone's cup of tea (perhaps too romantic for guys or smth) but a poorly written show IT IS NOT. The title is somewhat deceptive and it is not to be compared with original BATB; but if you stop making comparisons and enjoy the show for what it is you won't regret it.
Yes, it took the show a while to find its pace, and no it was not perfect since the beginning, but it is worth sticking with it 100%.
This is definitely one of the worst shows I've every had to sit through. From the moment two strutting woman in their heels come through with detective's badges (yeah, right), it only went downhill from there. This is nothing even close or akin to the 1987 series. It has no pathos, and cheeky lip-service to mythos, and the dialog... I don't think I could cringe that much in an hour ever again. I'm so tired of feeling sorry for a cast for what the writers and director put them through. Hopefully their careers can survive this show.
i love this TV show absolutely brilliant only criticism is the investigations are very easily solved other than that nothing wrong with it and really hope it don't get cancelled coz im so hooked
I love this show! I stay in edge till the very end. Love the chemistry between characters. I cant wait till next show just wish it wasn't march 14. I hope there are more seasons to come. I'm hooked. Love Jay Ryan!
Its the best more real than the anothers shows, its what realy happen maybe in some time with all this technology that we have. But the drama its amazing. Please keep the show and made more season you know you can do it for us the fans, this show we can have a great final for both of then together.
