Episode Summary

J.T. thinks that Catherine's presence has been causing Vincent's blackouts. Hoping to prove J.T. wrong, Vincent has J.T. inject him with endorphins and sedatives that trigger a fugue state. In flashback, Vincent sees his time in Afghanistan when he received his first dose of the medication and remembers the doctor who injected him with the DNA-altering substance. Vincent also recalls how the other soldiers suffered from unpredictable side effects, including fugue states, and is relieved to know that Cat isn't triggering his blackouts. Vincent tells Catherine about his memories about Murifield, and she remembers a few pieces of information. As Cat and Tennis investigate the attempted shooting of a teen pop star, Evan starts to suspects that Cat is protecting the vigilante who saved him in the subway.

  • TRIVIA (0)

  • QUOTES (4)

    • J.T.: She's seen you Vincent and she hasn't run.
Vincent: I don't know how much longer I can expect her to put up with all this if we can't find a cure to these blackouts.
J.T.: Fine. A cocktail of endorphins and my good friend lorazepam to keep you chill while I evaluate your Catherine-allergic ass.

    • Catherine: It's just that I've blamed myself for so many years for what happened to mom. You know? I'm the one who called her the night she died. You know, I guess just going through her things, I...I realized it wasn't my fault. That when we stay stuck in the past, we stay hurt. We stay victims. I don't want to be that anymore.
Mr. Chandler: Your mother would be so proud of what you've become. You've got her heart. In a lot of ways I see her in you.

    • J.T.: That is a lot of cops.
      Catherine: Okay, you ready?
J.T.: How'd you get "you ready?" off "that is a lot of cops"?
Catherine: I'm trying to move things along.
J.T.: I know you're Sarah Connor with a kung fu grip and all, but I'm pee-in-your-pants terrified.

    • Tess: Hey. New case. You're not gonna believe this one.
Catherine: Aliens landed and knocked over a liquor store?
      Tess: Thanks, Mulder.
