Beauty and the Beast

Father: Together we have weathered a storm. A great storm, which at times I feared, might never pass. It did pass... after much sorrow...and loss...The time of darkness is ended, bringing us to this day arrives a time of peace and rejoicing. Vincent: Holding my son in my arms, I feel as though two lives had been given to me. There are no words to express the depth of my gratitude to each of you, to all of you...my family. Father: It has been said that the child is the meaning of this life. The truth of that had never been more apparent to then on this day when we celebrate the child. This new life that has been brought into our world. We welcome the child with love, that he may be able to love. We welcome the child with gifts that he may learn generosity. And, finally, we welcome the child with a name. Vincent: I have named my son, Jacob.
