I would be lying if I said that I wanted Cece and Nate to win..I think most people did. Even though Nate didn't win the money, he won the award for most caring person in the competition. I personally wanted Megan and Scooter to win (which I was particularly happy at when they actually did win.) The look on Cece's face was absolutely priceless, when the screen turned on and all the previous contestants were seated across the hall. That plot was genius! When Cece said "we have to kiss ass", this justified how karma bit her back. Nate's decision to dissuade the couples for him and Cece to win was brave of him. I can't wait until the reunion episode!
Yays scooter and megan won good for them they beat even nasty witch Cece and Nate oh poor Nate I adored him so but alas he was paired with cece and he was doomed for hatred of the other teams. I was glad that the other teams got to decide who won this time. It was a much needed ending especially to this season, to long has the fate of teams been decicided by questions and answers and the memorization of facts the end needed some input by the people to decide the winners and it was done that way. All in all i'm happy how it ended up.
It was great to see all the other constants back in the house. CeCe knew she didn't stand a chance once she saw who would be making the final decision. The way she treated Megan was wrong. I am so glad that Scooter and Megan won. Nate did the right thing when he told everybody that he didn't think CeCe had changed. I really didn't think he had to do that because I think everybody already knew that. He had Jennylee's vote because she had a "relationship" with him. Of course it ended after the Beauty and the Geek. And CeCe had Mat's vote. I think it would had been a little closer if Nate didn't say anything to persuade the ones on the fence to see that CeCe didn't change. Let's get real here! CeCe needs more than a game show to change. She doesn't think she can learn anything from anyone! I am so happy Megan and Scooter won. Yeah! It proves, nice guys and girls don't always finish last!
The two remaining couples were surprised to learn that the eliminated cast members would be voting individually on whom they thought should win. CeeCee actually looked a bit scared by the thought that her fate - the money - rested in their hands while the others Nate, Megan, and Scooter cheered to have them back.
We quickly saw a confrontation between Andrea and CeeCee. Andrea told her how she didn’t like that CeeCee had formed this “clique” with some of the other girls when they were here in the house to learn from the guys. She accused CeeCee of insulting many of guys and even talking behind some of the other girls backs. CeeCee didn’t have much to say except she didn’t think there was anything to learn from a geek.
The remaining guys, Nate and Scooter both started taking other old cast members to the side to talk to them about their vote. But as the night wore on the more people that Nate talked to, they all said the same thing, I really like you and I’ll vote for you – I just wished CeeCee wasn’t your partner. Nate did some soul searching and finally decided that if CeeCee were to ever have a chance to learn something from this experience then she couldn’t win. So Nate then went back around to everyone and asked them to please not vote for him and CeeCee.
Finally it was time to vote. Jennylee gave Nate and CeeCee her vote because of her fondness for Nate. The only other vote that went to Nate and CeeCee was Matt’s, he gave his vote because he thought CeeCee had been nice to him. The rest of the old cast members all said about the same thing, Nate we really like you and you’re wonderful but CeeCee you’ve not grown, you’ve not learned anything.
Megan and Scooter win easily.
I must say I’m glad this season is over. I agree with what a lot of the eliminated cast members said about CeeCee and it got to a point watching this show that I hated to even hear her speak. I hope next season doesn’t have a “CeeCee.”
I loved this season. Nate was awesome and its to bad c.c was a witch. I think that megan and scooter did grow. I loved the cast and how they brought them back. Good season :). I think that a lot of people changed and looked like they had more confidence when they came back to the show. I espically liked Mario and Nadia. I cant wait for next week. I want to find out who got married and so forth. I cant wait for next seaon I think its going to be a good one also. Bye for now. :)
I loved the way they ended this show. It should be done like this every season. It goes to show that the nice ones do win in the end. I do wish Nate would have won (without C.C.), but as he said he stepped away the real winner. And personally, C.C. will never learn her lesson, not in a week, month or year. She will always be a *itch. I loved Nate's band, I'm a Star Wars fan, and in my eyes he would be cool, not a geek. He does look better now with his make over. The one thing I love about this show is the guys never really care who wins, they are in it for a good time only.
This has been my favorite season finale by far. All of the finales have offered a bit of a twist, but nothing could have prepared them for this: the former contestants deciding the fate of the remaining teams.
Cecile was kinda right, they did have to kiss ass that day. But the the trick to winning was to be nice from the beginning. I think Meghan and Scooter deserved to win, they didn't have any grudges with anybody, there was no drama to be resolved in the end.
The real twist was Nate's self sacrifice. Yes, he was prophecied to win from the beginning but Cecile kinda ruined that chance. I think he was the one that changed the most, both inside and outside. If he didn't make the mistake to be partnered with Cecile in the beginning, he would have taken the money.
As for Cecile, she hasn't changed at all. Nate was right to teach her a lesson. So even though the other contestants didn't get any money, they can take the experience home with them. Cecile on the other hand will go home with nothing but her bags and the shame she should have felt.
To wrap it up, the geeks might not have been geeky as Season one's and the beauties might not have been as smart as Season two's, but Season three offered friendships and love that was kinda ignored in the past two seasons.
The episode opens with Nate saying how sad he is that Jennylee had to go. But Megan is happy to see Cecille back. Nate tells Scooter that he is upset at what Cecille said in the elimination room ("You can take the blonde to the ranch, but you can't take the bikini off the blonde.") So Megan and Scooter confront Cecille about it and tell her it how it affected Nate. She of course feels no remorse and thinks Nate should have gotten to know her better instead of Jennylee. She does have a point though.
Mike the host calls the team down to the library to reveal the week's challenge. Only this time there won't be a challenge. Instead the each teammate will show the other a hobby they haven't previously revealed. It all goes along with this week's overarching theme of change. Finally the teams will get some downtime and some one on one time.
Megan takes Scooter to play some tennis. She's a self-proclaimed tennis pro. What's surprising is that she is a actually quite good. This comes as a shock only because she is so against any kind of physical activity. But Megan has really proved herself to be a good competitor.
Cecille meanwhile takes Nate to do some hip hop dancing. Nate has some rhythm and is able to pick up the moves pretty quickly. But of course Nate has that willingness to try anything and learn and grow.
Scooter's favorite activity is hiking. From his the mountain man beard he came into the show with, this seems to fit him well. He and Megan hike up a hillside, and Scooter surprises her with a picnic he packed--but made her carry! Scooter, haven't you learned anything about chivalry?
Nate flies in his Star Wars band from Harvard to perform for Cecille. This hard rock outfit writes songs based on scenes and characters from Star Wars. Even though their music is mostly noise rock, Cecille seems to genuinely enjoy it, even joining them on stage. We as viewers get to see another side of Nate.
The teams return to the mansion to reflect on their experiences. Megan says she's just happy to have been on the show and to have learned something from the others. Megan really has come full circle in this competition. She says that she doesn't even care about the money. Nate of course makes a Star Wars reference, comparing it to Luke going after the Death Star. Cecille just wants to win. That is all that is on her mind.
The teams are called to the elimination room. Mike says that the teams will be judged on how much they've changed during the competition. And the only way to determine that is to have the former housemates vote for them. The former teams are then shown in the library, to the happiness of the finalists. All but Cecille. Since she has been so cruel to other contestants, she knows that they will judge her harshly. The finalists will have 24 hours to sway the "judges."
The finalists then reunite with the former teams. Nate and Jennylee of course make a beeline right for one another. As the finalists glad hand everyone, Nate and Mario step back to have a private conversation. Mario comments that everyone likes Nate, it's just unfortunate that he has Cecille as a teammate. Mario is absolutely right, because Nate is very personable, whereas Scooter is a little more shy. At the end of the night, Cecille is ranting to Nate, saying that she doesn't want to kiss a--. Nate just tells her she should be humble. She tells Nate that anyone who thinks they've changed from the show is ridiculous. Nate feels really hurt because he has been so changed so much.
The next day Nate tells EVERYONE not to vote for he and Cecille because if they win, Cecille won't learn anything. It's quite shocking at first to see him making this kind of sacrifice, but this really is his character. He might win just for being honest.
The final two teams head to elimination. Each of the former housemates will get one vote, so the final teams need seven votes to win. Jennylee is first to vote and of course chooses Nate (oh and Cecille.) The rest of the former housemates vote as they were eliminated.
Neils: Megan & Scooter
Nadia: Megan & Scooter
Mario: Megan & Scooter
Erin: Megan & Scooter
Drew: Megan & Scooter
Andrea: Megan & Scooter
Matt: Cecille & Nate
Sharee: Megan & Scooter
And with Sharee's vote, Megan and Scooter have the seven votes needed and they are crowned Beauty Queen and Geek King. It's a little anti-climatic. There are no balloons, no confetti, no fanfare. Cecille is of course bitter, saying that any girl who learned something from a geek is stupid. Megan and Scooter were certainly the right choice. Scooter may have been a little boring, but he was always consistent and nice to everyone. Megan may have been a bit of an airhead but she was always willing to go the extra mile to help her team and everyone else on the show. It was a great season and it should definitely get renewed!
Finale of another season. This season ends with a twist that not even studying could prepare you for. The former house mates ;beauties and nerds become the judges and the determining factor as to which team deserves to win $250,000.
Seeing Scooter and Megan - a team that I've been rooting for (ever since Andrea lost) win really made me feel so relieved and happy Nate going around the house after realizing that Cecile didn't change at all since her first day arriving at the mansion. Part of me believed that he genuinely believed what he was preaching to the other former teammates. But at the same time, it was like who wouldn't want to win. Regardless, I thought it was really big of Nate to sacrifice and sway whomever might have been on the fence at the expense and hope of teaching Cecile something from this experience.
Scooter and Megan have really came along way and Megan did so many things that have really gained my respect for her week after week. Their chemistry as partners together was also extremely admirable. This didn't happen last season when the beauty who won solely won because it was her goal in the game. I am glad that this season, at least the better and more deserving team won. I only wish they showed a reunion or a "what are they up to now" show - that certainly would have been a segment I am sure a lot of fans would have love to see. To witness and perhaps gain confirmation that it has in fact changed their lives.
