Beauty and the Geek

I enjoyed the beginning of season 2. It is actually the first one I have seen in this series, and to tell you the truth, I am not a 'REALITY' show type of person, and I thought "Beauty and the Geek", "Oh my goodness, what are they gonna come up with next"? BUT, I was intrigued with the episode the Beauty's got to do a makeover on the Geeks. That's what caught my attention, and from there I was hooked. I fell in love with following these teams who come from two totally different worlds, combine & learn from eachother about the opposite sides of the track. I was able to catch the marathon rerun of season 2 & was very happy to watch the whole season at one time......I hope they will bring "Beauty and the Geek" back from hiatus. I will be a vivid viewer of the show. Hey, now that's awesome to hear, coming from someone who has NEVER cared about watching reality shows.

I know they are doing the same thing that American Idol does, and show you all the rejects that weren't good enough to make the show, but considering the fact that they are looking for rejects (on both ends of the spectrum), I really don't see the need for the first half of this episode. It was kind of nice to see Richard and Lauren again though.



I did like the last half of the episode though. Learning more about each contestants. I like that because as the show goes on, we can see just how much of a change they have made.



It was also cool to see stuff from seaon one.



And the sneak peak was also pretty cool. It showed us some fun stuff coming up, but I couldn't really get a feel for who I was gonna root for. Josh did say something that hit kind of close to home, so he is my early favorite.
