Beauty and the Geek

It seems that this show has got the formula down pat. I tire of watching reality shows with no substance. Well, this one has little substance but it's a lot of fun. Whilst it may be depressing to watch the futile feeble nerdy protagonist try and form an alliance, nonetheless it is a plethora of fun (with a capital F offcourse).

This show and this episode may not be a beacon of light revitalising a tired genre (although some may claim it to be) but it does enough to make you smile and really feel for some of the contestants.

Man, and I was the one who dug the first episode! Some of these girls really have an amazing self image -- too much, if you asked me. One says something like, "That's why guys like that don't get attention from girls like us!" Girls like who?? Your self aggrandizement is killing me, honey! You're not all that, and those guys are not all that nerdy. Get over yourself.



And the host needs to pull the stick out of his ass.
