When the women give the men makeovers in order to improve their chances of winning the week's only task, the geeks come out looking much more presentable than they did, and their confidence soars. After the girls have stylists give the men haircuts, eyebrow and chest waxings, and find a new wardrobe, the guys are sent to a bar for a round of speed dating, where three women spend a short period of time with all six men and then judge them on their conversation, appearance, and all-around social skills.moreless
  • Chris & Dr. Phil need to have a talk!!!

Well, in this episode, the boys get a makeover. My favorite is Wes and Ankur and then Joe whose personality I really like. Chris is STILL too cocky. I wasn't sure the girl were going to cheer for him when he came out, but they showed him some love and also Tristin despite their differences, but sure enough later on in the episode some drama pops off. But we get to that a little later. During speed dating, Wes was absolutely the coolest and Josh was.........well Josh. I still love him though. Chris doesn't know how not to be offensive to women. I think its a chronic condition he has. He basically greatly insults Tristan by basically calling her ignorant. But the winner of speed dating ended up being Wes which was no surprise. My stomach got kinda nervous with this episode because of the Chris situation. He just doesn't seem to get it. "Academically uninclined" Come on people, I would really love to see this dude on Dr. Phil. He does apologize though. But this episode was the episode in which he went home unfortunately for Tristin, who I would've liked to have seen stayed.moreless
  • Chris puts his foot in his mouth, but he apologizes before he and Tristin get knocked off by Cher McEinstein.

The best show of the season, by far. Chris is the villain that you love to hate. And he's got a sense of humor, which doesn't hurt. This one had all kinds of drama, provided by Chris's foot in mouth moment and Tristin's emotional response. On top of that, this was the makeover show. And, for some reason, the guys got their chests waxed. I really don't think chest hair was holding these guys back. But Ashton knows when there's ratings to be had, and he cleverly decided to use some hair removal. Of course, Wes, perhaps the ringer, came out looking like, well, like he was in another leage. Ankur and the other kids came out looking pretty good too. All in all, a good episode.moreless
  • Best episode of the season.

    "Superb"
So far, I really haven't liked this season. But this episode is one of the best.

Ok first, the guys got makeovers, which made it exciting. I was surprised how good the guys could actually look.

Then the guys went speed dating. Not a good thing for Chris. During one of Chris' speed dates, the woman asked if he liked his beauty and he said something along the lines of, "Not really. It's great to be able to have an intelligent conversation once in a while." Chris forgot that his partner, Tristin, was listening in on the conversation. After, when he was trying to apologies, he insulted Tristin more by calling her stupid. In the end, Chris wrote a card to apologies and everyone was happy.

Over all, this episode was a good one. I found the drama very interesting.moreless

    • Wes wins the speed-dating competition, the only challenge of the episode (the women technically are involved in the challenge, as they gave the geeks makeovers). Thus, Wes and his partner Sarah are given immunity for the week, and must nominate two couples for elimination.

    • In the nomination ceremony, Sarah & Wes pick Tristin & Chris and Cher & Josh to go to the elimination room.

    • The topics tested in the elimination room in this episode are Dating Women for the men and a Cumulative quiz for the women, meaning that any topic tested in the elimination room up until this episode is fair game.

    • This is the third time that Tristin & Chris are sent to the elimination room, this time with Josh & Cher. Chris & Tristin, however, do not make it out intact this time.
