That oughtta be a big enough twist to stop 'em from canceling it.

That would be interesting. But are there really Celebrity Geeks?

There are potentially quite a few Celebrity Geeks around: Bill Gates, Stephen Hawking, Vin Diesel (a Dungeons & Dragons fan for over 20 years); Dolph Lundgren (a chemical engineering degree); Mark Zuckerberg (Creator of Facebook) but it couldn't work as a show because in order to be considered a celebrity the person would have to exhibit some good social skills already - the ability to give an interview for example, or the ability for self promotion. As one of the best parts of the show is watching socially inadequate "caterpillars" turning into socially capable "butterflies" I don't think the idea of a Celebrity B&G would work.
