This was a funny installment while it still manages to push the plot forward. It had presented important scenes in humorous ways. It shows the start of Koyuki's relationship with Maho, thus opening the door for the sub-plot. The scene where they sing Moon on the Water shows Koyuki's vocal prowess and foreshadows his future in the music scene. The start of Koyuki's friendship with Saito if also important in pushing the plot forward. There's a little bit of character building on Maho's and Saito's personalities as well. Chiba and Manabu are also introduced in this episode. Another very important and well written epsode of the series.
