I heard she left because she rallied the other stars to demand pay rises and was fired, but I am not sure if this is true. Anyone else know why she left?

I'm not sure why she left, but it was a sad day when she didn't come back!

Terry Farell was fired; she didn't quit - that part is clear.

As to why was she fired, that's an unsolved mystery. She did organize the protest where the cast demanded a raise, after the producers gave Ted Danson a raise but not to the rest of the cast. Wikipedia has this version, but they also made the note that Terry Farell has been asked about it and she said she had no idea of why the producers didn't want her on the show anymore.

Oh wow- a rally. I'm not surprised she was fired then, but she does have a certain militant quality about her. Anyway the show declined, so the joke's on the producers.

Bad decision. I never even thought of her as one of the better characters, but once she was gone, the show was never as good. And once Bob was gone, the show completely tanked. I like Jorge Garcia on LOST, but he just couldn't replace Bob on Becker. And Nancy Travis was a piss-poor substitute for Terry.
