Jake is looking for a new way to meet women, so he decides to take classes at a local school. John and Reggie help him choose a class, and they all agree on an art class that teaches you how to make sculptures.
At the office, John is having problems with a patient that doesn't seem to be listening to him. He's a busy plumber, who is not exercising or eating properly, and has diabetes. It turns out that he may have just had a small heart attack recently. He is adamant that it didn't happen, and that John is trying to scam him out of money. They end up getting into a heated argument, with John basically saying that he doesn't care if the patient dies. The argument is in front of several patients, which leaves for an awkward moment.
Jake comes back to the diner with a sculture and he seems to be enjoying his time there.
John decides to confront his patient's wife about the heart attack. She is surprised to hear of it, because her husband never bothered to tell her. They argue a heck of a lot in this scene, and John walks away knowing why he doesn't seem to care whether he dies or not.
I thought this was a decent episode. The writing was well done, and I liked the main plot with the patient not obeying John.
