Belle scanning through a group of letters comes to on that reminds Michael, her of a former lover who is far away. He was a photographer who, given the chance, left for an opportunity in Africa
Her current client is Lana who is playing the field since she and her first love separated by circumstances. Through all the years and all the lovers, Lana still reminisces about David. Her fantasy is to be reunited, at least for one night, with her first love.
With the information Lana provides, Belle has her private investigator locate David. Finding him, she invites Lana back to the bordello and asks her for more details about her memories of David and more importantly her intentions. Lana describes what she liked about David and provides striking erotic images which convince Belle that her intentions could be more that a single nights reunion. In fact her memories are the standard, which she uses to rate all men she has been with since. Obviously she has found them all lacking.
Belle tells Lana of her own first love who left her for work and still remembers. She tells Lana that she had found David and the two would meet again the next evening at the bordello.
The meeting is magic. The former young lovers, both nervous, approach each other with hesitation but soon their shyness gives way to passion and they are completely reunited if just for a moment. As she observes their enjoyment of each other, Belle is reminded of a feeling from too long ago.
Afterwards David tells her that he too had never forgotten their love and we are left with the idea that they will never part again.
Meanwhile Belle has a new client named Michael who wants to find his long lost love. Lisa who had made the connection and arranged for Michael and Belle to reunite referred him to Belle. There are happy endings all around.
