It's the Battle Of the Bands: Lydia's band, The Brides of Funkenstein, and Clare's band, The Clarenettes. Which band will get to perform at the annual girl's/boy's school mixer?
  • Time for some rock'n'roll, people!

This is definitely one of those episodes in this show that is very cool and musical. We get to see Lydia, Bertha and Prudence, along with Beetlejuice (disguised as Betty Juice) playing rock'n'roll and heavy metal in their band, the Brides of Funkenstein!

It's fun to see that Bertha and Prudence can also be wild girls when they want to. Especially, when they're competing against Claire Brewster and her band, Claire and the Clarinets. But with a little beetlejuicing and the right music, the Brides make the house come down. Not even Elvis "The King" Presley could have done better, if you ask me.

  • A great episode with an awesome rock'n'roll band, the Brides of Funkenstein!

This is actually one of my favourite episodes in the series, because it is centered around Prudence. We already know that she's a bookworm, and is affraid of many things. But when she gets on stage, she starts to sing like a professional singer, outstanding Claire Brewster and her snobby band, Claire and the Clarinetts.

The animation is very good, and we have to admit that the girls hair style, and the costumes that they all wore during the concert were very cool. Plus, if you like music, then, this is one episode in this cartoon series which you do not want to miss! In a scale one to 10, this one gets an 11, because the Brides of Funkenstein have a great lead singer, as well as a fantastic group of players, among them, Betty Juice!moreless
