First one I ever saw.

In The Big Face-Off, Beetlejuice and Lydia are entered in a contest that pits combatants in the arena of grossness! Only the most nauseating of competetors walk away with a victory; surely Beetlejuice, with his patented Double Lung-Tosser face, is a shoe-in for first place? Not necessarily, for the Scuzzimotos are pretty hefty competition! Can Beetlejuice whip up the scariest, grossest, most disturbing face ever, or will he and Lydia go down in miserable defeat?

Well, there's no character development here, no adventure, no real pizazz to speak of. And yet, this episode proves, to my mind, one hundred percent entertaining. Beetlejuice and Lydia are quite the team, and this vignette only goes to show what kinds of fun the duo wreaks upon the Neitherworld from day to day.moreless
