  • The MOST funniest football show going around.

    8.0
I think that this is the most C.L.A.S.S.I.C football show going around. It beats the heck out of The Thursday and the Sunday footy show, the news and footy classified. I love it, it has an awesome panel and kick a$$ segments. I look forward to it every Saturday. Hughsey, Pete, Lehmo, Sam and Andy all brighten up my Saturday nights. I love to sit down and just laugh at Tool of the Week, the banners and classic Strauchnie. I am so delighted that it's no longer after the game but Before the game. Have it on earlier is awesome.moreless
  • a show about AFL that is funny in a way.

    10
This show has alot of laughs. But if anything will lift your spirits tomorrow and ally you to one of these loathsome "foreign" teams, it's Before the Game. A slab of beer and some footy franks could be handy too. gags like Straunchie,Tool Of The Week and the banners it's all good.
  • Wish it was on earlier.

Before the Game is a legendary show. Definitely the best aussie rules show on tv. I only wish it was on earlier. I am in QLD and we get the show at about 1am Saturday nights (Sunday mornings). Why can't channel ten put the show on at 6:30 PM like everywhere else, instead of lame Raymond repeats. Tool of the Week and Banners are segments where people should be able to submit their thoughts instead of just nominating for the Tool of the Year. Also, Straughanie should actually play for Collingwood. Counldn't make them any worse. LOL. I hope Before the Game returns next year, but earlier.moreless
  • Very enjoyable

    9.4
Before The Game is an Australian rules football/comedy television show in Australia on the Ten Network hosted by Andrew Maher, with regular panelists including Peter Helliar, Dave Hughes, Sam Lane, and Lehmo. The format of the show is a light-hearted discussion of issues relating to the weekend's matches played so far in the Australian Football League. Anthony Hudson was a co-host in 2005.Before The Game first aired during 2003 as After The Game. Originally, it was a half-hour broadcast following the Saturday night AFL match, aired at either 10.30 or 11.00 (depending on whether the televised match was live or delayed). During the existence of After the Game, the show was rated M and contained occasional coarse language. The show was a cult hit.moreless
  • The best footy show going around

    10
This show is easily the best footy show going around. It's funny and great to enjoy and its all about Australia's greatest game FOOTY!!! Its a great show in between the games of footy on channel 10 during the afternoon and night. Dave hughes has his weekly cry about his blues, while pete dreams of playing for collingwood. They all the stars of the game who come in and chat about the game. But i think the reason that so many people love the show is that its not controlled with people who think they are experts on the game. Theres no big ego's on the show such as eddie mcguire or sam newman. Its just a couple of mates sitting a desk talking about footy. Its definately the highlight of my saturday night unless st.kilda is playing haha. Tool of the week and the banners are great segments. A top show this one!moreless
