Funny, touching, jaw-dropping, and sad in equal measure, this is the kind of episode that Behind the Music did very well.
Whatever you think of the band's music, all the members on camera here are engaging and charismatic, even when they're totally disagreeing with each other. The show takes an interesting look at the Chicago origins of the band, and how that city's way with politics might have rubbed off on the members of Styx.
There's the normal great stuff about band members dying and reunions occurring, but there's also a segment on Mr. Roboto and playing art rock in stadiums that's alternately hysterical and min-boggling to watch.
If you ever have the chance to see this episode, don't miss it.
